We’re IT Solutions of South Florida, and we’re looking for a Level 2 System Administrator who’s ready to expand their experience across networking, cloud, security, and cybersecurity compliance. You’ll work closely with senior engineers, assist with client projects, and provide day-to-day technical support that makes a real impact. This role also supports clients with increasing cybersecurity and regulatory requirements, including environments aligned with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, CIS Controls, CIS Benchmarks, and other security best practices. Responsibilities: What You'll Do Provide remote and on-site support: install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software, including operating systems, office applications, servers, endpoints, and networking devices. Monitor system performance, availability, and security and troubleshoot system and security-related errors. Provide technical support for end users — leveraging AI-assisted tools to diagnose issues faster and deliver better outcomes. Implement policies, procedures, security standards, and technical best practices to maintain the security and reliability of client environments. Assist with the implementation and remediation of technical cybersecurity controls associated with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, CIS Controls, CIS Benchmarks, and related security frameworks. Assist with security hardening of Microsoft 365, Windows endpoints, servers, firewalls, switches, and other infrastructure components. Support security technologies including MFA, Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender, endpoint protection, encryption, secure configurations, vulnerability remediation, logging, and access controls. Assist senior engineers with identifying and remediating cybersecurity vulnerabilities, configuration weaknesses, and compliance gaps. Support cloud environments including Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS with configuration, administration, security, and troubleshooting. Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, network diagrams, configurations, procedures, and evidence supporting cybersecurity and compliance requirements. Collaborate with senior engineers on larger projects including migrations, upgrades, security remediation initiatives, CMMC/NIST-aligned projects, and AI-adjacent rollouts such as Copilot, Claude deployments, and automation workflows. Participate in vulnerability remediation, system hardening, security assessments, and implementation of recommended security controls.
