Job description

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator at Level 3 to lead our advanced system administration efforts. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our Windows based infrastructure, should possess excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex Windows-based systems, including servers, clusters, and virtualized environments.
2. Provide expert-level technical support for escalated incidents and complex service requests, collaborating closely with Level 1 and Level 2 teams.
3. Analyze and resolve critical system and application issues, ensuring high availability and performance of the Windows infrastructure.
4. Architect and manage Active Directory and related services, including integration with other enterprise systems.
5. Develop and implement best practices, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of the Windows environment.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
7. Design & implement disaster recovery & business continuity solutions for Windows environments.
8. Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
9. Mentor and provide technical guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 System Administrators, advancing their professional growth.
10. Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in Windows system administration.
11. Strong understanding of network and server security including CIS, SSL/TLS, IPSEC, etc.
12. Handle escalations, work closely with customers, and provide RCA for the issues within SLA.
13. Review performance of the team and share details with customers.
