Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks a Systems Administrator to provide Endpoint Security (ESS) support for the AFINC III program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex. The role requires 3+ years in EndPoint Security, Security+ certification, and ESS 201/301 credentials, with US citizenship and a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include deploying and managing Trellix/Trellix ePO products, monitoring security data, and ensuring compliant configurations across DoD enclaves.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage suites of products such as: Trellix Agent, Trellix Application and Change Control, ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Endpoint Security (ENS) which includes Threat Prevention and Firewall, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Policy Auditor (PA), and Rogue System Detection (RSD).
• Deploy, configure, document, monitor, maintain, upgrade, and analyze data generated by the McAfee/Trellix ePO console (automated server tasks, trend analysis) and troubleshooting product issues, outages on systems, or errors/latency traced to ESS suite across live enclaves.
• Provide network administrators and security personnel with mechanisms to prevent, detect, track, report, and remediate malicious computer related activities and incidents across DoD networks and information systems adhering to ESS working groups and community of practices.
• Record configurations, conduct assessments, specify proper types of files organization, indexing methods, security procedures and submit suggestions to ESS schedule(s), agents, scan zones, and endpoint repository management.

Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide Endpoint Security (ESS) support for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex . This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

3+ years experience with EndPoint Security solutions. HS diploma or GED. Must be Security+ certified. Must hold the following certifications: ESS 201 Administrator and ESS 301 Advanced Administrator. Extensive with EndPoint Security including Trellix Application and change control (application whitelisting). Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, and an ability to conceptualize server infrastructures and configurations. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
