Job summary
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a System Administrator to oversee daily operation, maintenance, and security of platform infrastructure for US federal government clients. The role requires hands-on administration, monitoring, backups, and automation, with on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 availability.
Ideal candidates have a Master’s degree or equivalent training, 8+ years in enterprise admin, and DoD 8140 readiness.
Qualifications
- Must have advanced degree or equivalent training or professional certification.
- Eight years of experience in enterprise system administration and automation.
- Experience with STIG.
- Experience with Linux, Unix or Windows.
- Must meet DoD 8140 requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on system administration tasks including managing user accounts, permissions and configurations.
- Implement and maintain monitoring tools; configure backups and automate tasks.
- Apply system updates and patches; troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Maintain system documentation; monitor logs and participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 availability.
