Job summary

Responsibilities include AD lifecycle management, patch validation, incident handling, and supporting OCONUS locations and base access coordination, while maintaining HIPAA/DoD-compliant practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) years hands-on system administration experience.
• IAT Level II certification per DoD 8570.01-M (e.g., Security+ CE).
• Microsoft MCSA or RHCSA or equivalent certification.
• Familiarity with base badging and OCONUS network ops.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux servers and endpoints; monitor health and performance.
• Manage AD accounts, groups, roles with least-privilege approach.
• Apply OS and security patches on approved cycles; document exceptions.
• Monitor alerts; perform first-line triage and escalations as needed.
• Log incidents in the service system; maintain auditable ticket records.
• Support backups, DR, and continuity exercises; verify restores.
