Job summary

Tharp Consulting seeks a System Administrator to support classified networks and operational personnel at a DoD environment. You will manage hardware, software, and system configurations across Windows Server and Linux, with emphasis on security and compliance.

Hyper-V virtualization and enterprise applications are integral parts of daily tasks. The role requires a Top-Secret clearance with SCI access, willingness to undergo a polygraph, and a minimum of 3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related experience and DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher.
• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI access and polygraph willingness.

Role Overview:

The System Administrator supports classified networks and operational personnel, primarily managing hardware, software, and system configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine system specifications, perform patching and compliance tasks, install and troubleshoot Microsoft Hyper V and Server environments, support user accounts and enterprise applications, coordinate with security personnel for data transfers, and assist with hardware/software tasks.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least 3 years of related experience, and compliance with DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher.
• Technical proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, networking, and security systems is essential.

Security Clearance:

Must hold an active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access, and be willing to undergo a polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain stationary, occasionally move within the office, and lift up to 50 lbs.
