Reporting to the IT Manager, the Systems Administrator position will provide daily administration and maintenance of all Frazier IT Systems, playing a major role in the implementation of new systems, upgrades and continuous system improvement. The position is full time, on premises with some out-of-hours incident response and occasional travel to other Frazier sites within USA, Mexico and Canada.
Job Responsibilities
- Daily monitoring and hands-on administration of all IT servers, including our on-premises virtualized environment and cloud-based services, in addition to systems located in 7 North American manufacturing facilities and a few dozen satellite offices
- Monitor, administer, and manage company email services and email security systems
- Support key manufacturing systems, including installation, configuration, operations, maintenance, certificates, monitoring, documenting and troubleshooting
- Create new, and review/update existing documentation, including SOP, System Information documents and user guides
- Provide internal status reports, provide advice and recommendations for improvements, and contribute to developing efficient processes and procedures
- Provide technical collaboration, guidance and support for Tier 1 / Tier 2 support staff. The position is a point of escalation for the Helpdesk team
- As a member of the wider IT team, will be required to provide all levels of user support, assisting client-side support teams as needed to ensure a quality IT service is received by all
- Working with the IT operations team, act as primary support for system alerts, assessing urgency and responding as appropriate in or out of usual office hours – particularly for any suspected security incidents
- Monitor and maintain all aspects of IT operations security and access control
- Assist and augment the IT Manager and IT Director as necessary to provide a modern and quality driven service to all company employees and associates
- Continuous personal growth and self-guided training, staying current with latest IT news, security concerns and emerging technologies (such as AI)
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the IT Director
Technical Experience Required:
- At least 10 years of hands‑on IT experience with increasing responsibilities within enterprise IT environments
- VMWare Virtualization, other virtualization platforms are a plus
- Windows server and related infrastructure (DHCP, DNS, AD, GP)

- A professional and intuitive demeanor
- Experience of manufacturing environments a plus
- Relevant CompTIA, ISC2, and/or Microsoft certificates are a plus
- Pro‑active work ethic, healthy curiosity and interest in personal growth
- Must be able to bend, stoop, stand and traverse stairways, uneven ground when installing hardware, cabling and racks
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. to move racks and computer hardware
- Valid driver’s license
- Occasional travel required to company facilities located throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico
Ability to work flexible hours as needed, and available for emergency 24x7 support when necessary
