Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, workstations, servers, and peripherals.
  • Administer Windows and Linux operating systems across desktop and server environments.
  • Perform system patching, OS updates, and security updates.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access.
  • Monitor and review system logs to identify potential issues or security concerns.
  • Participate in incident response and troubleshooting activities.
  • Support vulnerability management initiatives and remediation efforts.
  • Develop, document, monitor, and report IT security programs.
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with IT security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Configure and maintain desktop, laptop, server, and network hardware.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to staff.
  • Serve as a technical resource to management and other employees.
  • Communicate regularly with internal staff and external organizations regarding technical initiatives, projects, and updates.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and system procedures.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively to resolve technical issues.

Job description

This role will be responsible for supporting Windows and Linux environments, configuring hardware and software, administering user accounts, maintaining system security, and assisting with incident response and vulnerability management. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must possess a current government security clearance in good standing or have the ability to obtain one.
  • Associate degree or higher in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Help Desk, Systems Administrator, or related IT infrastructure role.
