We are hiring for Network Voice Engineer
JD:
Experience: 5+ yrs
Location: Remote (night shift)
Notice Period: 30 days to immediate
What you will take on:
- Design, implement and maintain complex voice network systems and infrastructure using Genesis Cloud, Five9, and other UCaaS technologies as well as Oracle/Acme Packet Session Border Controllers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex voice network issues, specifically in relation to these technologies.
- Ensure the stability and reliability of the voice network system, specifically utilizing these technologies.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure integration and interoperability of voice network systems with other systems, specifically those utilizing these technologies.
- Monitor and analyze voice network performance and utilization, and recommend changes as needed, specifically utilizing these technologies.
- Maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, procedures, and policies, specifically in relation to these technologies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, specifically in relation to these technologies.
- Experience of network fundamentals and deep understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in order to identify network and voice issues and resolve/mitigate the issues quickly.
- Experience in implementing, running and maintaining a 24/7 production environment.
- Experience in providing architecture/system documentation and should have strong communication skills in general.
Our new team member will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network voice engineering.
- Expertise in at least one of the following UCaaS platforms:
- Genesis Cloud (Strongly preferred)
- Five9
- InContact
- Expertise in voice technologies such as SIP, RTP, H.323, MGCP, SCCP, and/or VoIP, specifically in relation to these technologies.
- Experience with Cisco Call Manager, Unity Connection, and Cisco Contact Center Enterprise.
- Experience with voice gateways, Oracle/Acme Packets Session Border Controllers, and other voice network infrastructure components, specifically in relation to these technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
