Pepsi Bottling Ventures in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks a Syrup Blender to manufacture syrup for bottling from concentrate. You will blend syrup, build recipes, and manage concentrate inventory in a fast-paced, team environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, basic math and computer skills, and willingness to obtain forklift certification. Good GMP practices and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year production or technical experience preferred.
• Good Manufacturing Practices background preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills, good written and oral communication skills, and good organizational skills required.
• Analytical thought process and good hand/eye coordination required.
• Must be able to follow established procedures without deviation.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and in a team setting.
• Must be able to secure forklift certification.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Blends syrup for bottling process from concentrate.
• Calculates quantity of concentrate units needed by converting production case figures to finished gallons.
• Builds recipes to specifications.
• Receives concentrate and high fructose corn syrup.
• Maintains concentrate and syrup inventory.
• Conducts associated lab duties and follows company rules.
• Performs housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned.
