Position Summary: The Power Plant Operator is responsible for providing maintenance services and overseeing operations to ensure the completion of work order projects and the continuous operation of the cogeneration plant. This includes performing skilled maintenance activities such as HVAC systems, alarms (Direct Digital Control), Emergency Generator Systems, Computer Monitoring Systems, Steam and Hot Water Boilers, and the Co-Generation plant.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, formal trade/vocational training or five years of related experience, and participation in ongoing education. Skills required include proficiency with hand tools, machinery, precision measuring tools, and knowledge of DDC systems, PLC-based control systems, and boiler operations. The work environment involves industrial and occasional clinical settings with physical demands such as heavy lifting and continuous physical activity.
