Qualifications

• Experience fabricating and distributing lifting and rigging equipment.
• Proficiency with slings, wire rope, hooks, hoists and related gear.
• Ability to read drawings, specs and orders for accurate fabrication.
• Knowledge of industry standards for lifting and rigging equipment.
• Operate fabricating tools safely and maintain a clean work area.
• Strong problem solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble lifting and rigging products including slings and rope.
• Interpret drawings and customer requirements for fabrication.
• Inspect finished products for conformance to specs and quality.
• Maintain fabricating equipment and tools; manage inventory levels.
• Review blueprints and capacity tables; follow safety guidelines.
• Report defective materials and ensure proper tagging of products.
