Job responsibilities

1. Serves as technical lead on complex analytics projects, responsible for solution data architecture, data models and corresponding logic to harmonize disparate data sources into an effective solution.
2. Leverages domain experience to profile and interpret data coming from multiple systems that often lack available data dictionaries or descriptive documentation.
3. Guides and reviews the work of other team members, including data engineers involved in coding transformation and data ingestion logic.
4. Analyzes and solves data optimization issues.
5. Serves as the main point of contact to dashboard and report developers and works in collaboration with them to ensure that the data model design aligns with the requirements for the visual layer.
6. Prepares architecture and design documentation, and guides other team members on producing clear and concise solution documentation.
7. Conducts design and code reviews.
8. Prepares and delivers presentations to management that inform them of issues and opportunities with our data assets and technologies.
9. Provides expert level support for deployed solutions, interfacing with support staff and helping them to resolve issues within defined SLAs.
10. Provides input for and reviews test plans and test scripts for coverage and effectiveness.
11. Provides input to individuals involved in data governance, data mastering, and data cleaning.
12. Designs approach for ranking application risk based on current state deployment.
13. Manages the development of architecture standards.
14. Designs future state reference architectures that will provide a template for teams to achieve security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
15. High-level analysis, profiling, and reporting on application health in application portfolio.
16. Develops and maintains a method for architecture assessment and identifies tactical remediation and long-term future state architecture for applications.
17. Promotes adoption of application development and DevOps best practices.
18. Presents findings and recommendations to Enterprise Architecture and Steering Group.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

1. Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or equivalent.
2. Minimum five (6) years of experience in Software Development.
3. At least 3-4 years of experience in Oracle SOA.
4. At least 1 year of experience in Azure Integration (Logic Apps, Data Factory, Azure Service Bus).
5. Should have good experience in design integration of different applications.
