Description

IT Business Analyst I

Summary

Responsible for engaging directly with the business to discover and model value-driven process requirements. Perform process/data analysis, process decomposition, scoping, optimization, and business process reengineering.

Essential Functions:

1. Identifies and captures as-is and to-be process information in discovery tools.
2. Assists in refinement, process design, and process decomposition of business requirements with feasible solutions.
3. Translates and simplifies requirements to the Technical team for implementation.
4. Uses requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests, and manage a project’s scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment.
5. Enables the business with process analysis and management capabilities.

Other Responsibilities:

1. Performs other work-related duties as assigned. Position requires on-call work. Minimal travel may be required (up to 25%).

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 3 years of overall IT experience with 2+ years of relevant RPA experience.

Requirements:

1. Expertise in eliciting requirements and creating process flows to represent the business requirements.
2. Expertise in assessing the business value and defining the ROI.
3. Expertise in business process and system analysis.
4. Experience in Business Process Management tools/Software.
5. Preferred exposure to Agile Scrum Methodology, familiarity with process diagrams, JIRA.
6. Bachelor’s degree in computer science/Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent combined education and experience, plus significant information systems/technology experience.
7. Knowledge of Appian and RPA.
8. Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interaction with all levels of management.
9. Excellent skills in oral and written business communications in English.
