Job summary

Bank of America in Chicago seeks an experienced Loan Admin professional to review and fund syndicated lending transactions, ensure lien perfection, and close loans in accordance with bank policies. You will coordinate with Client Managers, Credit and Portfolio Officers, and legal counsel to deliver accurate funding and compliant documents.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in commercial lending or Loan IQ, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple close deadlines in a fast-moving

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with commercial lending or Loan IQ.
• Familiarity with commercial credit or commercial loan terminology.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex legal documents.
• Strong communication skills and ability to tailor messages to audiences.
• Organized, proactive, and capable of prioritizing deliverables.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent loan administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation, close, book, and fund syndicated lending transactions.
• Work in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Ensure loan documentation and lien perfection meet bank policies and procedures.
• Review loan approvals and counsel-prepared loan documents for consistency and adherence to requirements.
• Complete primary financial booking and initial loan funding.
• Work with Client Managers, Credit and Portfolio Officers, agency management, internal and external legal counsel, and internal operational support units.
• Manage incoming and outgoing payments required from the Borrower and Lenders.
• Book new commitments, amendments, and restructure updates in Loan IQ.
• Facilitate successful closings for multiple commercial and corporate lending lines of business.
• Deliver accurate and timely work product.
