You will assist teachers, help students reach their academic and social potential, and play a key role in maintaining a positive classroom environment. The role involves working with students with diverse learning needs, communicating with staff, and participating in daily routines within New Lenox schools.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively with school staff.
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
• Experience supporting students with special needs is a plus.
• Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent (associates or higher preferred).
