An established industry player is seeking a Master Technician to oversee the repair and maintenance of district vehicles. PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Master Technician will inspect, diagnose, repair and service mechanical issues on district vehicles and equipment. Work will be performed in compliance with established safety procedures and meeting or exceeding industry estimated times as established by the manufacture. A Master Technician must be able to drive any vehicle in the Fleet, provide assistance supervision to other Fleet Technicians, be available for on-call status as needed. Must be able to assume control of the shop if no other leadership is present, and direct the work of subordinate employees.

Incumbents will be considered “at will.” Appropriate pay will be determined based on Grade 12 and allowable experience as determined by Human Resources. This is a 250-workday position. This position contributes to the Public School Retirement System of Georgia (PSERS).
