Classroom Culture & Management
  • Establish high standards of behavior for an optimal learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships and implement restorative practices.
  • Create an attractive, functional classroom environment.
  • Deliver social-emotional learning lessons using the Morning Meeting SEL block.
  • Promote school culture policies, including JAGUAR Values and Behavior Matrix.
Assessment
  • Administer various assessments to monitor progress.
  • Use data to inform instruction and interventions.
  • Evaluate student growth, maintain records, and communicate with families.
Professional Growth & Responsibilities
  • Engage actively in professional development and coaching.
  • Communicate constructively with peers and supervisors.
  • Supervise students during out-of-class activities.
  • Complete reports timely and participate in family engagement events.
Qualifications
  • BA or BS required; graduate coursework preferred.
  • 2-3 years teaching experience preferred.
  • Relevant Massachusetts teaching certification.
  • Sheltered English Immersion endorsement.
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity.

  • Effective communication skills.
