Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking a dedicated Switchgear Technician to perform testing, repair, reconditioning, recertification, remanufacture, and retrofit services on switchgear and components. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to PEARL standards.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read and modify technical documents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and be trained on proper respirator protocol.
• Read, interpret, and modify documents.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an excellent driving record.
• Certifications: Pearl Level I and II, Forklift training, TSC Electrical Training, MSHA Training, OSHA Card, in-house training on machines.

Responsibilities

• Test, repair, recondition, recertify, remanufacture, and retrofit services on switchgear.
