Develop a comprehensive technical documentation library for low- and medium-voltage switchgear and power distribution equipment, translating existing product specifications and engineering details into clear, organized documentation suitable for engineering review, project submittals, approval, and installation.
We are seeking a technical writer with direct experience in switchgear, power distribution, or electrical engineering environments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical writing skills with hands‑on knowledge of low‑voltage and medium‑voltage equipment, particularly 480V+ power systems.
Experience in application engineering or design engineering within the switchgear industry is a significant plus, particularly for candidates who have worked in customer‑facing roles and can clearly explain complex technical concepts.
Candidates with experience at or working with manufacturers such as ABB, Eaton, Schneider Electric, Siemens, or similar power distribution/switchgear organizations are especially relevant.
The initial project will focus on building out a technical specification and submittal documentation library from existing product specifications, engineering information, reference documents, and SME input.
