The position is based in Naperville, IL.

Summary

The Manager of Quotations develops and implements sales strategies, leads the Quotation team to meet sales goals, and builds relationships with customers and vendors to secure pricing for bids and ensure proposal quality.

What You’ll Do
  1. Lead the Quotation team to achieve sales, customer development, product mix, and Gross Profit goals.
  2. Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with district, division, and regional goals.
  3. Engage with customer procurement, program management, planning, and technical teams to identify needs and foster new relationships.
  4. Hire, train, and develop team members to maximize sales effectiveness and customer satisfaction, including technical training.
  5. Meet with key clients, assist sales reps with relationship management, negotiations, and closing deals.
  6. Use market analysis to understand customer needs, pricing, discounts, vendor selection, and competition.
  7. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
  8. Educate sales teams and customers on products and offerings.
  9. Manage travel and expenses to meet budget expectations.
  10. Deliver sales presentations, coordinate customer training, and represent the company at trade events.
  11. Monitor and report on promotional programs and product launches, analyze sales data for strategy development.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 6+ years in customer service, project management, or related fields.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Experience with electrical distribution, lighting, and controls is a plus.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Product knowledge and customer focus.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, enthusiastic.
  • Track record of sales management success.
  • Willingness to travel domestically.
Working Conditions

Includes exposure to noise, heat, cold, electrical hazards, and travel up to 20%. Physical demands involve sitting, walking, using hands, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

For Illinois, salary range is $97,293.64 - $145,940.46, plus bonus. We are an equal opportunity employer and committed to inclusivity.
