AtWork Group is seeking an Electrical Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for medium and high-voltage switchgear equipment. This role involves working with engineering, sales, and project management to prepare bids, ensuring profitability through detailed estimates.

Located in Arvada, Colorado, the ideal candidate has over 3 years of electrical estimating experience, knowledge of NEC/NFPA codes, and strong organizational skills. Benefits include 2 weeks PTO and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating, with specific experience in switchgear systems.
• Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams, specifications, and submittal packages.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review technical specifications and project plans to determine switchgear requirements.
• Develop detailed material and labor cost estimates for switchgear systems.
• Prepare RFQs and coordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing and lead times.
