Job summary

RESA Power in the United States is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems, focusing on safety, reliability, and quality. Under the direction of shop management and Engineering, you will apply engineering principles and design software to meet specifications.

Key duties include design (90%), testing (10%), coordinating with manufacturing and vendors, reading schematics, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent experience, or a minimum of 5 years of combined experience.
• Experience with electrical design and testing of control systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical control systems and components per specifications.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, testing, and vendors for design compliance.
• Perform power testing of relay panels and switchgear; review test plans and documentation.
• Inspect installations to ensure conformance to design and safety standards.
