Job summary

Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company, is seeking a Switchgear Assembler for our Fontana, CA site. You will assemble switchgear cabinets per blueprints, using power tools and mechanical skills, under the supervision of the Production Manager.

The role requires 2–4 years of related assembly experience and forklift/reach truck operation familiarity. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in assembling switchgear components.
• Basic math and measurement skills to meet technical specs.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and operating powered equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fabricated metal parts for switchgear cabinets following specifications.
• Operate power tools and hand tools to complete mechanical assemblies.
• Perform quality checks to ensure conformance to drawings and standards.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and report any defects or issues.
