Chewy is seeking a Switcher Driver I at its fulfillment center in Belton, Missouri. The role involves moving trailers, supporting inbound and outbound operations, and backing up the Switcher Driver II to ensure on-time customer deliveries.

Responsibilities include coordinating with transportation and operations, labeling, loading/unloading, yard checks, and performing pre/post-trip inspections. The position requires safety focus and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with transportation and operations to prioritize tasks.
• Labeling, replenishing, box making, and loading/unloading trailers.
• Fulfill and organize orders to ensure efficient delivery process.
• Perform other outbound-related duties as needed.
• Work in order picking and outbound docks as required.
• Conduct periodic yard spot checks and report on equipment.
• Operate a switcher unit for at least 5 hours in a 30-day period.
• Ensure switcher equipment is safe; perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Move carrier trailers within Chewy yard for inbound/outbound docks.
• Participate in additional training and duties as assigned.
