Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience as a Switch Technician or related position
• Experience in switch operations and maintenance
• Familiarity with Nortel, Nokia, and/or Ericsson switch nodes
• GSM knowledge and/or experience (helpful)
• Equivalent of Associate’s degree in electronics technology
• Two-four years experience in wireless telecommunications
• The flexibility to work alternating shifts and weekends
• Outstanding communication skills
• A knack for grace under pressure
• Individual must have familiarity with Ethernet and Ethernet Testing
• Demonstrate skills associated with Cell Site Router Commissioning and Fault Isolation
• Familiarity with Tellabs 5500 DACS is also required
