  • The Set Up Machinist (Level 3) at Precision Medical Technologies is responsible for setting up and operating complex machinery to produce precision medical components. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet stringent industry standards.

  • The Set Up Machinist (Level 3) at Precision Medical Technologies is responsible for setting up and operating complex machinery to produce precision medical components. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet stringent industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce parts according to specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments to machinery settings.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Document production activities and maintain accurate records of machine settings and part specifications.
  • Train and mentor junior machinists, providing guidance and support in developing their technical skills.

Required Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in machining or a related field is preferred.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a machinist, with a focus on set-up operations.
  • Proven track record of working with precision medical components and understanding of industry standards.
  • Experience in operating and setting up CNC machines and manual machining equipment.

Required Skills And Abilities
