Swiss Screw Machinist – Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing

El Cajon, CA

Join a well-established precision machine shop that has been producing high-quality components for aerospace and defense applications since 1971. Known for its supportive work environment and strong team culture, many employees have proudly remained with the company for over a decade.

As a Swiss Screw Machinist, you’ll play a key role in setting up and operating Citizen and Tsugami machines for both short-run and long-run production jobs. You'll be responsible for program edits, conducting first article inspections, and ensuring all parts meet strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up swiss-screw style machines (including Citizen and Tsugami)
• Edit programs at the machine
• Perform first article and in process inspections as needed
• Perform offsets and tool changes
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience setting up swiss-screw CNC machines
• Ability to edit programs at the machine
• Use of measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
