Qualifications

The primary purpose of the Machine Operator is to operate and monitor machines used in the production of the organization's product. Responsibilities may include equipment setup, preventative maintenance, and performing finish operations.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Adhere to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements, including but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, FDA regulations, company policies, operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
• Apply proficiency within discipline, complete tasks and assignments, and solve routine problems with some independence.
• Involvement in equipment setup and/or more complex assignments.
• Load component materials into product-specific tools and perform finishing operations.
• Read and follow operating manuals, maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Inspect parts visually with microscopes and/or dimensionally to ensure conformance.
• Follow established documentation for product manufacturing.
• Complete required documentation accurately.
• Clean and maintain machinery as necessary.
• Expand skills through on-the-job training, cross-training, job rotations, and classroom instruction.
• Participate in team activities focusing on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other functions as required.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience operating machinery in a regulated manufacturing environment; medical device experience preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Working knowledge of drawings and blueprints with the ability to interpret information.
• Ability to work with small precision parts.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed instructions in English.
• Basic knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection techniques.

Range: $19.03-25.39/hr
