Job description

Outlier helps the world’s most innovative companies improve their AI models by providing human feedback. Are you an experienced Swiss French writer who would like to lend your expertise to train AI models?

About the opportunity:

1. Outlier is looking for talented writers with fluency in Swiss French to help train generative artificial intelligence models.
2. This freelance opportunity is remote and offers flexible hours, so you can work whenever is best for you.
3. Your tasks include reading Swiss French text to rank responses produced by an AI, writing short stories in Swiss French on given topics, and assessing the factual accuracy of Swiss French text generated by AI.

Examples of desirable expertise:

1. Experience as a professional translator.
2. Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities or related writing field.
3. Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing.

Payment:

1. Current pay rates for core project work by Swiss French writing experts are approximately $45 USD per hour.
2. Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project needs, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. For initial onboarding or overtime phases, lower rates may apply. Some projects offer incentives. Please review specific payment terms for each project.
