Job summary

Afexsystems is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. You will program, operate, and maintain CNC equipment, interpret blueprints, input designs into CAM software, adjust cutting paths, and run quality checks on finished parts.

Swiss CNC programming experience is a big plus, and we value attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently with occasional overtime. Training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Programmer.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software and CAM tooling.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Physically able to stand and lift heavy objects.
• Willingness to work overtime or off-shifts as needed.
• Preferred: Swiss-Type and/or Twin Spindle experience.
• Preferred: Swiss CNC Programming expertise.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models.
• Input product designs into computer modeling software.
• Load raw materials and select proper cutting tools.
• Adjust machine settings to match product specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues during manufacturing.
• Perform quality control checks throughout production.
• Clean, maintain, and service CNC machines.
• Train new staff on operation and safety procedures.
