Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Mentor, OH seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to operate Citizen Swiss machines (L32/L20) on a second shift. You will apply solid machining fundamentals, interpret blueprints, and verify part quality with calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

You’ll set tool offsets, manage tool changes, edit simple programs, and document results. A strong problem-solving mindset and reliable communication help you route issues quickly and maintain throughput.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on CNC machining on Swiss-type equipment.
• 2+ years setting up CNC machines.
• Able to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, height gauges and no-go gauges.

Responsibilities

• Operate Citizen Swiss machines (L32, L20) independently.
• Set tool wear/geometry, make tool offsets.
• Change tools and perform full setups.
• Edit programs and document results.
• Communicate production status and route malfunctions.
