Job summary

Flexible Concepts, Inc in Indiana is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to run CNC mills and lathes, load parts, cycle machines, and monitor operations while maintaining quality standards.

You will work in a predominantly indoor manufacturing setting, with routine shifts decided by production schedules; must read measurement tools and perform basic math; prior machine shop experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read tape measure, micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Ability to speak, hear, read, and be trained in the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math with decimals.

Responsibilities

• Performs all assigned machine shop operations.
• Detects and reports defective materials or conditions.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition in accordance with shift hand-off procedures and follows prescribed safety procedures.
• Regularly performs milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing, and sanding tasks.
• Performs quality inspection of machined products, and documents results according to quality standards.
• Completes and maintains quality paperwork for parts.
• Assists in other work areas to perform fabrication, lay-out of parts, filtration of coolant and burnishing tasks.
• Follow all company rules, continuous improvement initiatives, quality standards and safety policies (OSHA).
• Ensure production schedule completion.
