H. T. PROF Group seeks a Swiss CNC Field Service Technician to service customers across the New England region. You will install, diagnose, repair, and maintain CNC machines, controls, and related equipment, traveling extensively to meet commitments.

The role requires hands-on CNC repair experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to travel up to 100%. You will collaborate with customers and vendors to ensure peak machine performance and minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from a technical school required.
• 2+ years hands-on CNC repair experience.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (dial indicators, micrometers).
• Experience with rotating machinery, spindles, and precision bearings.
• Strong understanding of CNC controls and basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Advanced troubleshooting with high attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 100%.
• Excellent communication with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites throughout New England to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Utilize manuals and vendor support to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Clearly communicate equipment status, repairs, and recommendations to customers.
• Submit accurate service and installation reports.
• Maintain professionalism and technical excellence to meet customer commitments.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers.
• Stay informed on new technologies and product updates through ongoing training.
• Maintain deep technical knowledge of all equipment lines represented by the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
