Job summary

Taylor Metal Products is seeking a Warehouse Associate for swing shift to support manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse logistics for high‑quality steel roofing and siding components.

Responsibilities include operating hand tools, forklift operation, quality inspection, following verbal directions, and maintaining safety and accuracy, with physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods. Background check and drug screening required.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Written communication skills.
• 3-6 mos. manufacturing or warehouse exp. preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred (will certify in-house).

Responsibilities

• Operate hand-tools.
• Visually inspect product for quality control and/or defects.
• Take and follow verbal directions.
• Stand for long period of time.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Drive forklift.
• Read tape measure.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedure.
• All Warehouse Associate employees may be required to assist in other departments on an occasional basis.
