Job summary

Barnes & Noble Education is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate (Swing Shift) for our Missouri facility in Columbia. You will help ensure the smooth flow of products through receiving, storing inventory, picking, packing and preparing shipments.

This full-time role offers hands-on experience across all warehouse functions and cross-training across multiple departments to support changing business demands. Shift is 3:00 PM–11:00 PM onsite.

Qualifications

• Reliability in attendance and punctuality is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Proficiency with handheld devices, including barcode scanners.
• Ability to work across multiple warehouse functions and teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments with accurate documentation.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with high quality and organization.
• Organize and maintain inventory, shelving, and warehouse spaces for efficiency.
• Assist with shipping, labeling, staging, and loading outbound orders.
• Participate in inventory management, including cycle counts and reporting.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment per policies.
