Job summary

StenTech in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a dependable Quality Control Inspector for the Swing Shift (3:15 p.m.–11:45 p.m.). You will inspect incoming, in-process, first article, and finished metal parts to verify conformance to customer specifications and quality standards.

The role requires reading blueprints, using calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and other inspection tools, documenting results, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control/inspection in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with FAIs and AS9102 documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming, in-process, first article, finished, and outgoing metal parts.
• Verify dimensions with precision measuring equipment and document results.
• Review paperwork and ensure accuracy of inspection records.
• Identify defects and non-conformances and communicate root causes.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and comply with company policies.
