Job Title: Maintenance Technician III

Department: Maintenance

Reports To: Maintenance Manager

General Description:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will maintain equipment across our production floor, warehouse, and office areas, including replacing HVAC filters and performing minor repairs on forklifts, scissor lifts, and electric pallet trucks. Some weekend work may be required. This role involves performing a variety of medium to high-skilled maintenance tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting equipment
• Routine lubrication of equipment
• Ordering maintenance supplies/parts
• Following preventative maintenance programs
• Assisting with equipment installations
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and facility
• Operating forklifts (experience and/or forklift operator certificate required)
• Ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance
• Maintaining a safe environment
• Working with PLC controls
• Welding and fabricating (MIG/TIG/ARC)
• Repairing building damages (walls, floors, etc.)

Education & Experience:

1. 2-year Associate Degree or 4+ years of relevant experience
2. Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
3. Mechanical maintenance experience required
4. Electrical maintenance experience is an asset
5. Forklift operation certification
6. Experience with thermo-forming machines (e.g., Tiromat)
7. Experience in a food manufacturing environment
8. Good interpersonal and communication skills
9. Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
10. Welding and fabrication skills
11. Machining and plumbing abilities
12. Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
13. Ability to work in refrigerated environments
14. Carpentry skills

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Rate: $30-$31
