Job summary

Sound Physicians seeks a Hospital Medicine Swing Physician in Apple Valley, CA. The team includes 17 hospitalists and 3 NPs at Providence St. Mary Medical Center. Swing shifts are 12 hours (3p–3a); full-time averages 16 shifts per month; compensation is $330,000–$340,000 annually.

The ideal candidate is board-certified or eligible in internal medicine or family medicine, with capacity to work with residents. H1B visa candidates are welcome to apply; visa/licensing support is available.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be board-certified or eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.
• Ability to work with residents.
• New graduates, residents, and fellows are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• You will work in an open ICU environment; no procedures are required.
• The role uses Epic EMR, with access to Sound Physicians’ internal informatics platform for patient management.
