Sound Physicians seeks a Hospital Medicine Swing Physician in Apple Valley, CA. The team includes 17 hospitalists and 3 NPs at Providence St. Mary Medical Center. Swing shifts are 12 hours (3p–3a); full-time averages 16 shifts per month; compensation is $330,000–$340,000 annually.

The ideal candidate is board-certified or eligible in internal medicine or family medicine, with capacity to work with residents. H1B visa candidates are welcome to apply; visa/licensing support is available.

Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of 17 hospitalists, including 3 Nurse Practitioners, at Providence St. Mary Medical Center.
• Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure a smooth transition of care.
• Sound Physicians Intensivists provide support to the hospitalist team.

Qualifications:

• Internal medicine and family medicine candidates are eligible. Candidates must be board-certified or eligible with the expectation of obtaining certification.
• Ability to work with residents.
• New graduates, residents, and fellows are encouraged to apply.

Scheduling:

• Swing shift schedule is a 12-hour shift; 3p- 3a.
• Full-time: Average of 16 shifts per month.

Compensation:

• Compensation is based on the number of shifts worked, full‑time ranging from $330,000 - $340,000 per year.
