Job summary

TeamHealth at Doctors Hospital of Augusta in Georgia is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant, or a motivated new graduate, to join our hospital medicine team for a 7-on/7-off schedule from 2pm to 2am, with strong physician support and a collaborative practice environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital medicine or equivalent preferred.
• Clinical skills for cross-coverage and pain management.

Responsibilities

• Manage cross-coverage patient care needs
• Enter and manage patient care orders, including pain management
• Coordinate specialty consults and assist with new admissions
• Collaborate closely with hospitalists and multidisciplinary care teams
• Average admissions during the shift range from 6-8 patients
