ACE Recycling & Disposal in West Valley City, UT is hiring diesel mechanics to inspect and maintain diesel equipment, diagnose and repair deficiencies, and adjust systems. The role requires willingness to work swing shifts, overtime, and various weather conditions while keeping detailed repair orders.

Applicants should have knowledge of OEM brands such as Cummins, Paccar, Detroit, and Caterpillar, plus electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with OEM manufacturers such as Cummins, Paccar, Detroit, Caterpillar, Freightliner, Peterbilt, Autocar, Bendix, WABCO.
• Experience with electrical systems including lights, relays, PLC, proximity switches, ABS.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and high pressure lines.
• CDL preferred but not required; valid driver's license.
• Own a full set of industry standard tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
• Correct vehicle deficiencies.
• Make adjustments and alignments; keep records.
• Be willing to work in adverse conditions and overtime, including weekends.
