ACE Recycling and Disposal, Inc. is hiring a Diesel Mechanic in West Valley City, UT. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing diesel equipment, with a swing shift from 1:30pm to 10:30pm and optional overtime.

Starting wage ranges from $28 to $45 per hour based on experience, with a signing bonus and comprehensive benefits. Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a full set of tools.

Formación

• Knowledge of OEM manufacturers: Cummins, Paccar, Allison, Mack, Detroit, Caterpillar, Freightliner, Peterbilt, Autocar, Bendix, WABCO.
• Experience with body manufacturers is a plus.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems and hydraulics.
• Experience with pneumatics and testing of transmissions, engines, and chassis components.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a full set of industry tools.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain diesel equipment operation by inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Make adjustments and alignments; keep detailed records.
• Willingness to work in adverse conditions and on various shifts with overtime.
• Repair equipment and vehicles during swing, graveyard, or weekend shifts.
