Figure is seeking a Shift Coordinator to lead the swing shift at our Fontana, CA site. You will manage robot operators and technicians, ensuring operations, testing, service, and upgrades run smoothly between day and night shifts.

Reporting to the Site Lead, you will hire, onboard, train new team members, manage attendance, scheduling, and shift coverage, and provide clear updates to Headquarters. This role demands strong leadership and excellent communication in a fast-paced hardware setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or deployment at customer sites.
• Proven people management including directing, coaching, and accountability.
• Flexible swing-shift availability, weekends/holidays as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the swing shift and own daily onsite production operations.
• Coach and develop operators and technicians; assign work and provide feedback.
• Support hiring, onboarding and training of new team members.
• Manage attendance, scheduling and shift coverage; adjust staffing as needed.
• Run handoffs with day/night leads and report fleet status and issues to HQ.
• Schedule and track humanoid fleet service and maintenance onsite.
• Serve as on-site point of contact for the customer and stakeholders.
• Log issues and provide engineering feedback to Headquarters.

We are looking for a Shift Coordinator to lead our team on site during the swing shift. You will lead and manage the robot operators and technicians keeping operations, testing, service, and upgrades running smoothly between the day and night shifts. You will report to the Site Lead and work closely with the day and night shift site leads and the team at Headquarters. This role requires proven leadership, strong people management skills, and the flexibility to adapt your schedule to the needs of the site.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the swing shift team and own daily onsite production operations during the shift
• Manage, coach, and develop operators and technicians, including assigning work, setting expectations, and giving regular feedback
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members for existing operations and as we scale
• Handle attendance, scheduling, and shift coverage, stepping in to adjust staffing as needs change
• Run shift handoffs with the day and night shift site leads, including clear updates on fleet status, issues, and open work
• Schedule and track onsite humanoid fleet service and maintenance
• Serve as the on-shift point of contact for the customer
• Log and elevate issues, and provide onsite testing results and clear engineering feedback to Headquarters

Requirements:

• 2+ years of leadership experience, such as shift lead, supervisor, or team lead, in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse operations, or deploying hardware at customer sites
• Proven people management experience, including directing, coaching, and holding a team accountable
• Schedule flexibility: able to work a consistent swing shift, adjust hours with short notice, and cover weekends and holidays as needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong judgment and execution in high‑pressure situations
• Experience in customer‑facing roles

The US base pay rate for this full‑time position is between $140,000 - $165,000 annually.
