Job summary

The Springs at Tanasbourne in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Medication Technician for the swing shift (2 pm–10 pm) to administer and assist with resident medications, monitor vital signs, and coordinate with physicians and health partners to ensure safe, compassionate care.

You will mentor coworkers, lead shift activities, and participate in training, while collaborating with home health, hospice, and pharmacy services to support residents' well‑being.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age.
• Prior experience in Senior Care as a Med Tech, Caregiver, or similar.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Administers or assists residents in self‑administering medications and treatments
• Measures vital signs and weight, and performs other health services tasks
• Communicates with physicians, implements physician orders, reports, and documents pertinent information
• Works closely with home health, hospice, and pharmacy services
• Be able to work as a team throughout departments
• Be a mentor and lead for co‑workers; shift lead
• First point of contact for floor training
