Job summary

Sound Physicians in Covington, WA is hiring a Swing Hospitalist Physician Assistant to join a tight-knit team on a 7-on/7-off rotation. Shifts are 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with high autonomy and minimal onsite specialty coverage.

The ideal candidate is a board-certified PA with WA license or eligibility, and at least 1 year of experience. Base salary is $165K plus comprehensive benefits and tail coverage.

Qualifications

• Board-certified, experienced physician assistant; minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
• Active PA license or eligible to become licensed in WA
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Work in a small community hospital setting with minimal onsite specialty coverage
• Swing APPs are responsible for admissions and cross-cover; there may be occasional rounding as well
• High level of autonomy
• No ICU, no codes; hospitalists do respond to rapids
