Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Florida is seeking a Swing Driver to operate company vehicles for delivery and pickup of packages, check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards, and provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's area.

Shifts are variable (AM/PM) and include Tuesday through Saturday with morning and evening schedules. A High School diploma, 21+ years old, and English proficiency are required, along with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months courier experience preferred; area knowledge required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and to maneuver heavy packages with equipment or assistance.
• 21 years of age or older; fluent in English to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features.
• Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
• Perform related customer service functions.
