Job description

Reports to: Production Manager

The Service Manager will oversee an assigned territory of contract & company owned wean to finish sites.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  1. Train & manage farm staff to ensure proper production practices are followed.
  2. Initial inventory & assessment of newly placed pigs.
  3. Marketing – weekly projections & selection of pigs for market.
  4. Work with maintenance dept. to ensure all site maintenance is current.
  5. Ability to troubleshoot & adjust ventilation.
  6. Assessing health issues and the ability to perform on-farm diagnostics.
Requirements:
  1. Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  2. Excellent organizational & time management skills.
  3. Prior swine management experience.
  4. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
