Job summary

PIPESTONE in Minnesota is seeking a Swine Research Barn Manager & Project Lead to oversee research trials from concept to completion, manage daily animal care, and uphold the highest standards of animal welfare, data integrity, and biosecurity.

You will lead trials, coordinate protocols, sample collection, and trial activities; train team members on procedures; and work with industry leaders, veterinarians, and sponsors to drive advancements in swine production through applied research.

Qualifications

• Animal Science degree preferred (or related field).
• Experience with sow or wean-to-finish operations preferred.
• Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Occasional overnight travel.
• Work with pigs ranging from piglets to market animals.
