Swine Vet Center Management is seeking an Animal Care Technician to join our sow farm team in Fairmont, MN. The role involves daily pig care, feeding, breeding, and farrowing, with duties including piglet processing, vaccinations, and data recording.

Candidates should be able to work in a barn environment, follow strict safety and biosecurity protocols, and potentially engage in team projects. A valid driver’s license and bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for pigs, including feeding, breeding, farrowing, and weaning.
• Assist with piglet processing and vaccinations.
• Safely move animals and clean animal housing areas.
• Perform power washing and maintain a sanitary environment.
• Monitor feed, water, and ventilation systems to support animal health.
• Accurately record farm and animal data.
• Contribute to team goals and special projects as needed.
• Strictly follow all safety, animal welfare, and biosecurity protocols.
